2025 represents the year of the Hermit and the Moon. It is a rather perfect time for our premiere North Star Tarot Retreat! It will be May 17-19, 2025 at the Mt Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington, MN. The theme will be the Tree of Life. Throughout history, the Tree of Life has served as a profound symbol in various contexts, embodying a variety of spiritual expression among many cultures. It represents the interconnectedness of all existence and the unity of the universe. It is an iconic template for the Hermit.
The Tree of Life will be woven as an immersive experience within 3 days and 2 nights. Shorter segments of instruction will be explored in a variety of exercises, readings, creative activities, stillness, work and play. The first 25 to register commit to staying on site for the length of the retreat time. This will add a powerful synergy for each other.
Ferol Humphrey is our master teacher who will lead us on in Wild Kabbalah for Absolute Beginners, a general theory class emerging from Jewish Kabbalah. Important life topics such as wisdom, understanding, love, power, truth and beauty, victory, splendor, foundation, and manifestation are explored. We will consider, through discussion and practice, ideas like consolidation and expansion, and finding a middle or integrated path. Kabbalah is such a beautiful, fluid, and practical study, which can get us out of some of the boxes we put ourselves into. It can be very freeing, and very life-affirming.
Sessions by others may include creating a practice of embodiment, story time, a contemplative walk, and reading Tarot for each other and ourselves in the beautiful peace of the Mt. Olivet Retreat Center. There will be two sessions for those who want to lead a strong topic about Tarot, the Hermit, the Moon or the Tree of Life. Applications for those sessions will be sent in January 2025.
All of the North Star Tarot conferences have tended to our souls. We believe that Brigid as the Lady of the North Star Tarot now directs us to go deeper. Are you being called?

Make a DEPOSIT of $140, which holds your space for the 2025 North Star Spring Retreat, or pay in full at any time before April 1, 2025. The deposit (or $140.00 of your full payment) is NOT REFUNDABLE. We will send you the link for the final payment when we receive your deposit.
Full registration includes a Dorm, Double, or Single room, 6 meals, and general conference fees. You will be able to note dietary restrictions and roommate preference when signing up. Refunds of the full payment amount beyond the deposit will be available until 30 days before the event date, or April 17, 2025. If you request a refund within 30 days of the event date, any payments made will be credited to you and available to use on future events.
PAYMENTS: You can make payments over time on your Deposit or Full Event ticket by selecting “AfterPay” when checking out. (With AfterPay you pay in four interest-free installments over 6 weeks. Human Be-In Cyber Gatherings
Our monthly tarot gatherings are coordinated throught Meetup.com. Join our group there to receive email updates about future events. There is no cost to join and lots to gain! You don’t need to learn about tarot all on your own.
Open Door Tarot
For 2024, we will explore new spreads every month! They will vary in size and theme. No matter your experience or skill with tarot, this class is both a workshop and valuable practice. Tarot Lab
The Tarot Lab is held the 2nd Sunday of every month at Magus Books & Herbs. provides an environment to create strong and effective esoterica, alone and together. Come if you are brand new or seasoned, the ideas and exercises will be tailored for those that show up. Bring your cards and curiosity. Tarot cards will be provided for those without decks. Please bring cash donation that is within your budget.
